MINUTES

1. Attended by ;  Councillor D. Gilmour, Councillor F. Moon, Councillor K. Robson
2. Apologies received from Councillor S. Tyerman
3. In a voting process Mrs S. Olivant, Mrs A. Simpson and Mrs. G Stewart were co-opted onto the council, making up a serving council of 6 members.
4. The minutes of the previous AGM dated 17th May 2018 were agreed and signed off as correct by the chairperson Councillor F. Moon
5. The Chairperson Councillor Fay Moon presented her annual statement, recording the events, achievements and ongoing matters from the previous 12 months
6. The election of a new chairperson was undertaken following Councillor F. Moon’s intention to stand down. Councillor S. Olivant was nominated but declined over other demands on her time. Councillor K. Robson was nominated but declined due to time commitments. Councillor G. Stewart was nominated, proposed by councillor K. Robson, seconded by Councillor F Moon and was elected by a unanimous vote.  Councillor Olivant indicated that she would be willing to serve as vice chairperson and was proposed by Councillor Moon, seconded by councillor Stewart and duly elected.
7. It was announced that Mr. P. Dyas has accepted the role of Clerk to the Parish Council and was introduced to the meeting.
8. Councillor S. Olivant delivered the financial report. It was noted that the current account balance was healthy and that the question of requirements for the external auditing of the accounts be clarified. The report was approved prop. Councillor Gilmour, sec; Councillor Robson.
