MINUTES

1. Attended by: Councillor G. Stewart, Councillor D. Gilmour, Councillor , Councillor K. Robson, Councillor S Olivant, Councillor A Simpson and at 8pm Councillor J Gladman.
2. Apologies for absence: none received.
3. The minutes of the previous AGM dated July 2019 were agreed and signed off as correct by the chairperson following a proposal by Councillor Simpson, seconded by Councillor Gilmour.
4. The Chairperson Councillor G Stewart, presented her annual statement, recording the events, achievements and ongoing matters from the previous 12 months- see attached.
5. Councillor S. Olivant delivered the financial report – see attached. Councillor will place the Annual Accounts on to the PC website.
6. Election of Officers:

Chairman: Councillor G Stewart advised that she was willing to continue in this role for a further year, this was proposed by Councillor Simpson, seconded by Councillor Robson and agreed by all present, with no objections.

Vice Chairman: Councillor Stewart reported that Councillors Simpson and Robson had indicated a willingness to take on this role and asked them to report why they wished to take on this position. At this point Councillor Robson reported that due to business and personal reasons he wished to withdraw from his offer to take on the Vice Chairman’s role. Councillor Robson proposed that Councillor Simpson be elected as the Vice Chairman, this was seconded by Councillor Gilmour and agreed by all present with no objections.

Finance Officer: Councillor Simpson proposed that Councillor Olivant be re-elected as Finance Officer, this was seconded by Councillor Gilmour and agreed by all present with no objections.

It was agreed that 6 councillors plus a clerk is adequate at the present time, with everyone agreeing to share the work load as per the last 12 months.

The Chairman advised that the next PC meeting will be held on Wednesday 14th October 2020.
