Benniworth Crime Prevention and Reporting
1. Benniworth Neighborhood Watch:
Our Village Neighbourhood Watcher is Mr. ANDY KERR (Main Road) - 07482 659 665
And as always, please visit the Neighbourhood Watch website for more information.
2. Enlarged Neighbourhood Watch:
In 2023, we coordinated with Lincs Police SPCO, the East Barkwith PC (Andrew Plath maila@thestargarage.co.uk and David Ward davidjamesward80@gmail.com) and 7 other nearby village Watches to discuss our approach to crime montoring, prevention, and reporting. As a result of our meetng, Keith Eddington (Burgh on Bain) set up and tested a communications system between us to efficiently share information. However since that point, crime activity has calmed. As well, Lincs SPCO oprogramme was disbanded due to operational budget cuts. If need be, we could easily resurrect this effort, as the initial interest and participation was strong.
3. Preventing Crime:
Lincolnshire Crime Reduction Tactical Advisor Simone Wilson offers a crime prevention visit to Lincolnshire residents, as part of her policing remit (she is not a PC, but part of Lincolnshire Police). Email: simone.wilson@lincs.police.uk
4. Reporting Crime or Suspicious Activity: Info provided by Sgt. Andrew Price, Lincolnshire Police:
1. If your situation requires urgent attention, of course dial 999. If less urgent, try 101 – sometimes this line is busy, please be patient.
