• and a Police Advice for Members of the Public Sheet
4. Reporting Crime or Suspicious Activity: Info provided by Sgt. Andrew Price, Lincolnshire Police:
1. If your situation requires urgent attention, of course dial 999. If less urgent, try 101 – sometimes this line is busy, please be patient. As a very last resort, try our local “beat officers” – they will answer if they are able at the moment. Sgt. Andrew Price 07796 783828; PC Rich Precious 07973 847303; PC Nigel Wass 07973 846956.
2. Please also go to https://www.lincs.police.uk/q/report-a-non-urgent-incident-online/ Here, all info is recorded directly from you, reducing possible mistakes. A tracking number is auto-designated.
3. Also as soon as possible, please register for the new community Lincolnshire crime monitoring site, “NextDoor” https://nextdoor.co.uk/agency-city/england/lincolnshire/ This site replaces the now- defunct “Lincolnshire Alert” system – it’s great, as any villager who has registered can see our local crime news; and also, Lincs Police monitor the site as well.
